Volunteer Fire Fighting Practices

Scope/Overview:

Introduces basic knowledge and skills that a fire fighter needs to operate safely at a fire scene. Successful completion of the training may qualify students for 30 hours of VFFP credits.

Special Features:

Hands-on training that utilizes the department's own equipment.

Course Length:

30 hours

Accredited Certification Level:

There is no certification level with this class.

Standards Met:

None

Student Equipment:

Students use their department issued PPE and SCBA.
