Dry Decon Comparisons and Employment

This presentation will focus on the uses and comparisons of currently available technology for dry decontamination, while focusing on their applicability in different environments, as well as their uses against different types of contamination. This presentation will also cover differences in techniques for each technology, to help gauge and guide decision making for on-scene or first-due hazmat responders for conduct of immediate/emergency decontamination, to include technical and mass casualty decontamination.

This presentation will also cover the study data collection and validation of technologies over the course of history, to include the recent developments of dry contamination materials, and their impact on first responders and first receiver healthcare members.
